Fundy Firefighters Support Seniors at 2025 Senior Expo

St. Stephen, NB.  Members of the Fundy Firefighters Association were proud to participate in the 2025 Senior Expo, hosted by the Charlotte County Seniors Resource Centre at the Garcelon Civic Centre. The event drew a strong turnout and offered a wide range of resources and demonstrations tailored to the needs of local seniors. We know there are quite a few power outages in our service area due to the wind storm. The Western Charlotte Fire Hall (395 Pomeroy Ridge Rd, Pomeroy Ridge) will be open TODAY, Dec 20, from 10am to Noon. You can get water, power to recharge devices, hot coffee, Internet connectivity and a general warm-up.

Obituary - Donald Nixon

Passed peacefully on Monday, October 6, 2025, at the Passamaquoddy Lodge in St. Andrew’s, New Brunswick. Donald was a founding member of the Rolling Dam volunteer fire department in 1966, retiring from the fire service in the early 2000’s. Service of Remembrance will be held at Humphrey's Funeral Home at 11:00 am on Monday, October 13th, 2025.

New Rescue Truck

Western Charlotte Fire Department is grateful for the support of our community, through our monthly 50/50 Fundraiser and the support of the provincial government for the purchase of our new rescue vehicle, unit 430. This vehicle will help us respond quickly to medical emergencies, motor vehicle accidents and will be able to provide a command center for larger operations.
